Ice Skating date and Rams at Disneyland

We start back up with 52 uncommon dates the book and where we left off during season one! Join us as we talk about the ice-skating date and about some things we love On our Scotty Loves Lisa podcast.

We made a reservation to the Five Points Ice area in Irvine Ca for an open public skate during the week. The cost of the skate was 16$ per session.

tgere were mostly younger kids that just got out of school and some teens on the ice that day.

We suggest to dress in layers because when you fist hit the ice it can be cold but once you start skating you warm up. Holding hands helps in case one person needs more help or one person trips. physical touch is also Scotty love language so he loves when we hold hands on the ice or when we are roller skating. Ice skating is always fun on a hot day as well. You can go in and cool off while doing some physical activity and not be out under the hot sun. The book 52 uncommon dates talks about ice skating during the holiday season and doing some kind of holiday activity afterword. This would also be fun to do as I e skating rinks trend to pop up in malls and shopping centers during the holiday season. You can go shopping or grab some hot chocolate with a tasty sweet treat. Remember to always be kind and considerate to your date and others. There are many different levels of skaters out on an open skate rink. You will probably fall but it’s the way you get back up and can laugh about it that will set the mood and make it a memorable moment.

Who's house? Mickeys house, and please respect the mouse in his house. Scottie and I are not much into football. He’s more of a hockey fan. But when it comes to the Super Bowl we’re all about the halftime show. I love production and he loves music. This year‘s halftime show was pretty good other than some of the production I felt was lacking. But what we loved about it was that it was in LA. Both growing up in orange county LA is where we go for everything and close to our heart. So when the Rams run the Super Bowl and they were going to Our Favorite Pl., Disney land the next day and also we had reservations we had to go check it out. It being Valentine’s Day we had reservations for the Disneyland park for a little stroll and maybe some sweet treats along the way at Disneyland. Scottie had to run some things to work so I headed up to the park to try to grab us a spot for the Rams parade. At first I was sitting in front of the castle into the left where I thought it would be a great spot and had shade. When a cast member told us that the parade was going the other side on Main Street we decided to move over where the parade would start by Its A small world. There was not many people there and we got great spots and met a couple of Rams fans. We got lucky enough to see the parade twice. After the parade had passed where it began we booked it towards the train station and got a Birdseye view of the parades ending. A pro tip is at the parade always starts and ends at the same place and the parades always go either up Main Street or down Main Street at Disneyland Ca. https://anchor.fm/scottyloveslisa/episodes/Ice-skating-date-and-Rams-at-Disneyland-e1el0ad
